Is rafting cancelled if it’s raining?
No, it’s not cancelled. We provide all the equipment to make the most of a great rainy-day activity.
What do I have to bring rafting?
Passport, swimsuit, sandals or running shoes that can get wet, synthetic t-shirt, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
What do I need to bring for an overnight or multi-day adventure?
- 1 jacket or parka
- 1 sweater or fleece
- 1 trekking pants
- 1 trekking shoes/boots
- 1 sandals
- 1 pair of socks

- 1 Capilene or synthetic t-shirt or long underwear top

Are adventure activities risky?
All activities that are held out of doors in nature carry some sort of risk. These risks can be minimized with safety measure, and with solid training of staff.
Will I get wet rafting?
Yep, you’ll get wet! That’s why it’s important for you to bring what we recommend on the “what to bring” list.
Does Patagonia Rafting have insurance?
Yes, we are fully insured with personal accident and liability insurance.
Do you need experience for rafting?
All of our programs are designed for people without experience. Technical concerns will be addressed by your guide. For expeditions, we do require a high level of physical fitness.
Should I bring money?
Only if you’d like to purchase a local handicraft or if you’d like to leave a tip for the staff; otherwise, you won’t need any cash.
Should I bring a towel?
No, we’ll provide you with a plastic bag that includes a towel (which you later return) and in which you can put your wet clothing.
Where is the river located?
The Manso River Valley is located to the south of Bariloche. It’s one of the principal attractions in Nahuel Huapi National Park, and yet few tourists visit the Manso. You can be sure that on our trips, you’ll enjoy really unique views.
